Privacy & patient information

Privacy Policy

This policy describes information associated with your use of Kansas City Hemorrhoid Relief, an educational website of Restore Vascular & Vein Center. It does not replace the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices for patient care.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Information on this website

This website provides information about care options and the practice. It does not have patient registration, contact forms, a patient portal, online payment, or a chatbot. We do not ask you to submit medical records, symptoms, insurance details, or other patient information through this website.

The site does not use advertising pixels, visitor analytics, or marketing tracking tools. We do not sell patient information or use this website to create health-based advertising audiences.

Technical information and storage

To deliver web pages, images, and other files, hosting and media services receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested resources, and request time. These services may keep operational or security logs under their own policies. This is different from submitting patient information to the practice.

The website does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. Accessibility display preferences are kept only in memory during your visit, not saved as a visitor profile. Third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies as described below.

Videos, maps, and patient reviews

The interactive Google map, YouTube video player, and Elfsight Google reviews widget load only when you choose to open them. Once opened, the service may receive technical information, use cookies, and process information under its own privacy policy. A YouTube preview image is hosted by YouTube and can be requested before you open the video player; other images and media are delivered by our media hosting services.

Please do not include medical history, treatment details, or other sensitive information in public reviews. Reviews are public and are not a private channel for patient care.

Facebook, advertising, and external links

You may reach this website from a Facebook advertisement or follow a link to our Facebook page, Google Business Profile, or another website. Those platforms process information under their own terms and privacy policies. This website does not currently use the Meta Pixel or Conversions API and does not send patient information to Meta through those tools.

Messages, comments, reviews, or information you provide on another platform are handled there, not through this website. Please do not send medical or insurance information through Facebook comments or messages. If consultation links to an external request service are provided, review that service’s privacy policy before submitting information.

Your choices

You can browse without activating interactive third-party content or following external links. Your browser settings can limit cookies and other storage, although this may affect third-party content. For information you submit directly to Google, Facebook, or another service, use that service’s privacy controls or contact it directly.

For questions about information you provide to the practice by phone or through a clinical service, contact the practice using the details below. Patient record requests should be made through the practice, not through public social media.

Children’s privacy

This educational website is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13 and has no tools for children to submit information. A parent or guardian with a privacy concern can contact the practice.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or its services change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. New forms, advertising tools, or other data collection would require a review of this policy and the related privacy safeguards before use.
